Middlesex is a small UK county which was originally large but had its size decreased considerbaly when much of it was incorporated into the County of London in the late 1800's. The County of London was later abolished to form Greater London, which the majority of Middlesex Borough's fall into. Being primarily located in London means the county has a large number of A Roads running through it as well as the start of the M1 and M4 motorways.  Road, rail and tube links mean easy access to London making it a popular place commuters.  Middlesex incorporates Brent, Ealing, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond.
